Denny & Kathleen wish to acknowledge the very hard work of the Local Committee...Liz Beiling, Sue Kenyon, Callie Ann Pappas & Mike Holley....Special Kudos to Liz for wrapping up the venues well over a year before our reunion. They are on to securing a photographer and a combo to play (quietly).

EVENT COSTS
We cannot tell you exactly how much each event will cost....We have a treasury that is at just over $15,000 because of your generosity over the past eight years. While we need to preserve some of it for mailings (each mailing is over $500) and for down payments on future reunions, we do intend to be very generous in making absolutely certain that all classmates can attend our events. For example, if we have 175 classmates at the Saturday clambake, that bill will run about $6000. It will be approximately $30 (with some subsidy) for guests. Friday night could run upwards to $3000 for classmates and with some subsidy $15 per guest. We will need to pay for music, décor, etc., etc., etc. Let us just simply assure you that we will look very carefully at costs and just how much we can assist you with each event. Brunch will be negotiated with the venue as will the Jr. High suppers...those will be what they will be. We promise to be both judicious and generous with our hard-earned treasury....Those who attend these events have given freely year after year and we are most appreciative. No other class has ever had what we have had and we are very proud of ourselves. Watch the News Flash for any updates as they come along.
Thank you so very much for your continued love and support of the Class of 1961.
